North Englewood sits just south of the Jacaranda Blvd. and S.R. 776 intersection in South Venice and north of the Downtown District surrounding Dearborn Street. This area is very near the conveniences of Venice or Englewood. Residents have a beach accessible in only minutes by following Manasota Beach Road onto the island of Manasota Key.
Manasota Beach features homes set mostly on larger lots. Some properties are close enough to walk or bike ride to the beach. Several streets have homes fronting the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway.
Overbrook Gardens is a waterfront community with canals branched off Forked Creek. Forked Creek leads directly to the Intracoastal Waterway. There is a community boat ramp for dry lot properties to access the water. Once again some properties are close enough to walk or bike ride to the beach.
Englewood Isles on the west side of S.R. 776, also features canals from Forked Creek. There are also large acreage properties. Some properties back up to and provide access to Buchan Airport, a small grass runway strip, or the Intracoastal Waterway.
